Frances Roberts
Physiotherapist
Frances graduated from La Trobe University in Melbourne with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences and Masters in Physiotherapy. Originally from the North West Coast of Tasmania, Frances has always been passionate about helping people move, recover, and feel their best through holistic, evidence-based care. She takes a personalized approach to each patient, combining hands-on treatment, movement education, and tailored exercise programs to support both short-term recovery and long-term wellbeing.
Frances is highly skilled across a range of physiotherapy areas. She is a qualified Pilates instructor, GLA:D Program instructor (for hip and knee osteoarthritis), ONERO Program instructor, and trained in dry needling. She also holds a Level 1 ASCA Strength and Conditioning Coach accreditation, enabling her to integrate individualized exercise and load management strategies into her treatment plans. This means Frances can help patients safely return to sport, manage chronic conditions, and improve overall strength, mobility, and function.
Currently, Frances is taking a 12-month travel adventure around Australia with her partner and their golden retriever, Billy, working in locum physiotherapy roles along the way. While away from her home clinic in Tasmania, where she is a director, she is exploring new places, surfing, fishing, and diving her way around the country. This adventurous spirit also informs her approach to physiotherapy, helping patients embrace movement and activity in ways that are safe, enjoyable, and sustainable.
Whether you’re recovering from injury, managing a chronic condition, or aiming to enhance your performance, Frances combines her extensive professional expertise with a friendly, approachable manner to help you move better, feel stronger, and live well.
